(Tioga Center, NY) Skyview Drags is pleased to announce the special awards for the 2009 Annual Awards Banquet and Dinner that will take place on December 5, 2009 at TIOGA Downs Casino in Nichols, New York.


Rookie of the Year Award - Each Division - A sportsman racer who has made significant accomplishments in his/her first season of competition.

Best Appearing Car Award - Each Division - All banquet attendies will vote for the best appearing car in each division.

Sportsman Driver of the Year Award - One Winner - The Sportsman racer who exhibited exceptional performance and sportsmanship throughout the racing season.

Most Improved Driver Award - Each Division - Awarded to the Sportsman driver who has shown the most improvement over the past year.

Hard Luck Award - One Winner - To the driver who suffered the worst luck of the season at the dragway.

Sponsor of the Year Award - One Winner - The sponsor who significantly impacted the dragway through sponsorship support.
