Got a trans brake coming to so I can launch like I'm supposed to , just can't launch right with a roll control valve at 1200 rpm's. :oops:

Also an electric water pump.

So my numbers should be a lot closer now with a transbrake to to engine builders numbers quoted at 9.98 and 133 mph before the blower. :?:

The Barrel was made by a guy on ebay, I can't get his add to come up but put this in ebay search engine. $20.00 for a picture, look at his add and his work the barrels are only a week out and a week delivery.

wow,i guess i didn't realize you didn't have a trans brake..........it will make you a lot more consistant.lower the thing down so you don't blow the tires off and you may be surprised.like i said,i don't have anything special and my yak surprised the hell out of me.i would have settled for low 7's.when it went 6.90 i was happy.as i got the hang of it and hit my shifts like i was supposed to it picked up.factor in a good track prep,great air and it ran the best number ever for a small ,small c.i small block .just the trans brake alone will help more than you know.does the camaro have a brake?

No they both have roll contro valves. :shock:

I'm sure it'll be a lot diffrent leavin at 3800rpm's instead of 1200rpm's.

The trans brake is going to be $600.00 to put in, my tranny's at the shop in Springwater waiting to be worked on now along with my engine which is getting a second keyway cut into the crankshaft for the bottom damper pulley, then it goes together.
Not sure what tubbin will cost me but I'll check it out,
I know it needs it along with lowerin but it looks good where it's at. :wink:

I can't wait to line up against the ol Streetrod56 and 1955 and send them packin.

it's not always about looking good.put a blower on it,leaving on a trans brake;it's gonna melt those tires.put her on a diet ,tub it ,slam it and then we might be afraid!!!!for christs sake you should be called be ashamed......leaving at a whopping 1200rpms.i leave higher with my old lady's aztec when i race light to light on my way to wal-mart!!if what you are telling me it true noel,wait till you release that tras brake button for the first time.expecially if it hooks ,you'll s**T YOURSELF.AN OLD FELLA LIKE YOU.ask larry carasea to put his camera in there focused on your face!i bet you could win money for funniest home video's.if you want the full effect,listen to what i am saying.the horsepower you are talking hooked up correctly is massive.i don't know much about blowers.......(lol,that sounds funny.reread that!!!)are they consistant? if ytou can't put the power to the groung,what good is it?

The roll control wouldn't give ya much more than 1200rpm's cause the brakes won't hold the car at much more than that so neither car got peaked out on it's launch. :oops:

As far as the Nova, I'm gonna need a diaper :shock:

so when it launches I won't POOP my pants, it'll stop it from runnin down my leg. :lol:

The car has awsome torque now 663ft.@4000rpm's.
I can't imagine it with the power the blower will give it,
no onboard camera's, It'll be awful and scarry I'm sure and will take gettin use to.
Not sure what the Caltrac system is gonna do with my 30" x 9" tires, they'll either hook or melt to the track. I may have to go to a 33" x 18".
