WELL COUSIN MATT....AT LEAST HE WAS AT THE TRACK,MORE THAN CAN BE SAID FOR YOU.YOU WERE PROBUBLY DREAMIN' ABOUT YOUR 4X4 RUNNING IN THE 6'S.OH,BY THE WAY A LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME THAT THE BEST YOU RAN THIS YEAR WAS 7.50'S.AND YOU KNOW WHAT, I BELIEVE HIM.IF YOU CANT MAKE THAT CRAWLER RUN FASTER THAN 7.50 WITH WHAT YOU CLAIM TO HAVE IN THE MOTOR,I WOULD GIVE UP.A STOCK 307 COULD RUN 7.50.I THINK THAT YOU HAVE BEEN HANGING WITH MARK TOO LONG,THE BOTH OF YOU LIE LIKE RUGS.AND WHEN YOUR BLUFFS ARE CALLED,YOU DISSAPPEAR.MY ADVICE TO YOU WOULD BE TO TAKE A FEW LEAF SPRINGS OUT OF THE REAR OF THE 4X4,PUT THE POLISHED BLOWER ON TO IT,AND PARK IT OUT BACK OF THE BARN WITH THE REST OF THE 4WD EQUIPTMENT SO YOU ARENT EMBARESSED.LEAVE THE RACIN' TO THE RACERS,LIARS GO FISHING.

Jason you are so right on with your post. there are bull shitters and then you have racers, They know what they are...

Just got home from NYIRP and thanks to you the turd went 8.97 at 149.82mph. Not as fast as Nole or the Luv but it was fast enough to put a smile on this old mans face.

Thank you again.
Manley

If anyone cares..."Manley" Haha..The little blue bug went to beaver springs and powered thru 6.26 @ 115 and the big end 9.86 @ 121mph with the engine turned off enjoying the view. Wonder what the correct gears will do?

WTG Tim,
My guess would be 9.75 @ 139 , but it all depends upon when you shut it down. The 9.86 is inline with your 1/8 mile E.T. But then again I don't fully know your combo.

I'm sure he brought his own air with him in a bottle. Way to go Manley now you gotta keep your car so you can hit that goal of 150mph next year. I will be ready for the big tracks early spring this next year.

Glad you got in the 8's Manley! Did you get your hand slapped? And that 55 Ford.....I new you had big numbers waiting to appear on a score board! Both those cars are a BLAST to race against.
Not meaning to shift Gears on this post ......My Blue car was purchased from a kid that had it set up for a carburated engine. So the gearing is waaaaay off. I am at the TOP of 4th gear before the finish line at our track. After that I am just out there making noise buzzing the rpms . My 1/8th ET's are a bit off . Take your average family car. Get it out on the highway in 2nd gear and floor it. Your out of steam at around 50mph but you still have more road to go. So you are on the floor looking for the end of the road. Thats what I'm doing now. Faster times are out there . I haven't had the best 2 years racing the Orange car , so I am having fun creeping up and learning what works and what doesnt with the Blue car. That 9.86 at 121 was just alot of noise. The car has low 9's in it . To compair my Orange car went 10.17 @ 143mph with low boost . Goals for the Blue car are 5.70's . To others reading this ...V-8 cars Pull a bit different than VW's. Pretty much the same principal of power to weight ratio though.
